Sense is a collaborative art piece that examines the role symbols play in communicating ideas.  Through the depiction of human senses–sight, sound, smell, touch, and taste are depicted through individual prints designed by students in MPSA Digital Media Design.  Students were asked how could they capture the true essence of these Sense(s) with a singular shape.  They began experimenting with geometric and irregular shapes; the literal and conceptual; and finally by exploring ideas behind symbols and icons.
