Life Elements is a collaborative art piece that examines the role symbols play in communicating ideas. Fire, Earth, Water, and Air are individual prints designed by students in MPSA Digital Media Design.  Students were asked how could they capture the true essence of these Life Elements with a singular shape.  They began experimenting with geometric and irregular shapes; the literal and conceptual; and finally by exploring the ideas behind symbols and icons.
